AMAZAKE

Why not order home-made Amazake now? 

Amazake is made by fermenting a mixture of rice koji (the Aspergillus oryzae fungus), water and cooked rice (optional) – just like sake. This process turns the starch into glucose and it stops there. Sake, on the other hand, has an additional ingredient: yeast, which further converts the sugar into alcohol.

Amazake, like other fermented food, is famous for its gut health-boosting probiotics and metabolism-boosting digestive enzymes, as well as being rich in vitamin B and nine essential amino acids.

HOME-MADE MISO

Home-made miso has only four ingredients.  Rice koji (Aspergillus oryzae fungus), Soya beans, Salt and Water.  Fermented and matured for at least 10 months.
